预防春季感染
Prevention of Virus Infection in Spring
Spring is a season of renewal, but also a time when infectious diseases spread more easily. Common spring illnesses include influenza, chickenpox (varicella), norovirus, and rubella.
Although there are many types of viruses, we can effectively reduce the spread of infection by taking early preventive measures and seeking timely medical attention.
Common Spring Infections
Influenza
Flu is an acute respiratory illness caused by the influenza virus. It spreads easily and has a high infection rate. Symptoms include fever, headache, runny nose, sore throat, dry cough, and muscle aches. Fever usually lasts 3–4 days.
Varicella / Chickenpox
Chickenpox is caused by the varicella-zoster virus. It leads to low fever and red rashes that turn into small blisters. Good hygiene and avoiding crowded places can help prevent it.
Prevention Measures
Different diseases require different treatments, but prevention starts with everyday habits. Follow these steps to protect yourself and others:
Personal Hygiene
Wash hands often. Change clothes regularly.
Cover your mouth when coughing or sneezing. Do not spit.
Food Safety
Avoid raw or undercooked food, including seafood and meat.
Peel fruit before eating. Drink only boiled water.
Environmental Hygiene
Remove express delivery packaging at the pickup point—do not bring it indoors.
Dispose of waste daily. Sort and discard it properly.
Indoor Ventilation
Open windows regularly to keep indoor air fresh.
Avoid Crowds
Avoid crowded indoor spaces with poor airflow.
Boost Immunity
Get sunlight, drink water, and eat fruits and vegetables.
Maintain a balanced diet.
Exercise regularly—walk, jog, do gymnastics, or practice tai chi.
Healthy Routine
Keep a regular schedule. Avoid staying up late or overworking.
Stay warm to avoid catching a cold.
Seek Medical Help
If you have a fever or feel unwell, see a doctor as soon as possible.
Prevent early. Detect early. Treat early—let’s stay healthy this spring!
