Clinical Internship Syllabus & Application for International Students
1. Course Objectives
l Master core clinical competencies aligned with WHO and Chinese medical licensing standards.
l Gain proficiency in diagnosing and managing common diseases in diverse clinical settings.
l Develop cultural sensitivity for patient care in China’s multicultural environment.
l Strengthen research skills through clinical audits or case studies.
2. Requirements
l Prerequisites: Completed pre-clinical coursework; basic Mandarin (HSK 4 recommended).
l Attendance: Minimum 90% attendance; absences require documentation.
l Professional Conduct: Adherence to dress code, punctuality, and patient confidentiality. Zero tolerance for plagiarism; adhere to institutional guidelines.
l Assignments:
ü Case presentations (1-2 per rotation).
ü Reflective journal (weekly entries).
ü Research project on a comparative healthcare topic.
